Before working with us . . .
Some people arrive after years of quietly managing. Others are in the middle of something acute, or can't quite name what's wrong. Whatever brought you here, you are welcome.
"Something feels off, but I can't quite name it."
It isn't always one big thing. Sometimes it's the build-up of small things. That is a real and valid place to start.
"I should be able to handle this on my own."
Most of our clients felt this way before they reached out. Asking for support is often the most powerful decision a person can make.
"I'm not sure anyone will really get my situation."
Especially if your culture feels like context that needs explaining first. Here, that context is often already understood.
"Does seeking support mean I'm not as strong as I thought?"
It's the opposite. It takes strength to notice when something is hard and reach out anyway.
"I just want to feel like myself again."
That's exactly what we work toward. Wherever you are right now, a free 15-minute call is the simplest next step.
You don't have to book a full session to start.
Choose whichever feels easiest. Every option starts with a free, no-pressure conversation.

Questions you might have before reaching out
Do I need a referral?
No. You can contact us directly. For ICBC or CVAP, we'll walk you through what's needed.
What happens on the free 15-minute call?
A relaxed conversation to answer your questions, understand what you're looking for, confirm any coverage, and see whether we're the right fit. There's no obligation to book.
How much does counselling cost?
ICBC and CVAP counselling is billed directly, so there's no cost to you. Many extended health plans also cover counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor. We'll help you check.
Can I have sessions in Punjabi?
Yes. Sessions are available in Punjabi, English, or both, whichever feels most natural.
Do you work with children?
Yes. Play therapy for children aged 3 to 12, adaptable for teens, with parenting support alongside. ICBC and CVAP can cover children too.
Will I have to talk about everything right away?
No. Therapy here moves at your pace. You never have to share more than you're ready to.
You do not need to have it all figured out before you reach out.
A free 15-minute call is all it takes to ask your questions and decide whether this feels like the right fit.
